This group of devoted animal lovers is working to ensure the safety and welfare of our community's animal companions during critical times, recognizing them as integral members of our community. Consider some of these questions as you prepare your pets for an emergency:

• How do I get my cat into a carrier in a hurry when I need to evacuate NOW?

• My dog is shy around strangers. How do I keep them calm?

• My dog is aggressive under duress. How do I protect them and the people who will be trying to help us?

• My dog/cat is on a raw diet. How do I stockpile that when there may be no capacity to keep the food frozen?

• I can't stay in my damaged house so need to go to a shelter that only allows service animals. What do I do?
