Additional offerings—

  • We will again offer to program your GMRS radio during the class.

  • For those of you who have a GMRS license, can you send John your call sign?

  • For those who do not yet have a GMRS license and would like one, we thought it might be useful to have a workshop at 9:30, before the class (and if we need more time after the class) to help those folks who do not have their GMRS Licenses to run through the steps to obtain one.  At this point John would like to get a count from the scheduled attendees to see if we have enough Radio Club volunteers. If you are interested, you will need to bring a smart device (so you can receive emails from the FCC) and a credit card.  We plan to be able to walk you through all the steps.  The cost is $35 and it is valid for the person who obtains the license and their immediate family.  If interested, please email John and he will send more details before the class.
