Healthcare Prepares Working Group meeting

  • Unitarian Universalist Congregation 20103 Washington 525 Freeland, Washington, 98249 United States (map)

Calling all health care folks: your community needs you!

If you are an actively practicing or retired health care professional—nurse, physician, respiratory therapist, first responder, EMT, CERT trained volunteer, spiritual leader with hospital or emergency response experience, or mental health provider—you are wanted. Please complete this form and bring it with you to the champions meeting or Health and Wellness Working Group meeting. With this information we can continue to build a complete picture of the skills among us that will promote the survival of our neighbors. If you cannot join us at a meeting but still want to contribute your thoughts and experience, please contact us!

With each meeting we are expanding our lists of skills, supplies and resources needed in a disaster, to:

  1. Prepare our families and neighbors in advance (medications, supplies, refrigeration for injectables, oxygen, etc.),

  2. Help immediately after a disaster (triage, ABC's), and

  3. Provide mental and physical health care for our communities and rescuers until it is no longer needed.
